Cricut Cardz Challenge Blog Entry - Scallops

So here is my entry for the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog....my first one!  I used Storybook for the scalloped circles and Mini Monsters for the spider.  In retrospect I wish I would have made the spider a quarter inch larger, but oh well....life goes on.  After I cute out the black scalloped circle on top (the one behind it is all white to write on) I wrapped white embroidery floss around it to look like a spider web.  The black paper is some cool American Crafts foiled cardstock.  So shiny, but hard to see in the picture.  I decided the spider needed to be purple with a blingy gold belly, because if spider really looked like that they might not be so scary...well probably still would be scary.  Enough jibba jabba....here is my card:

Ingredients: Cricut Expression Mini Monsters and Storybook, American Crafts foiled cardstock (black and gold), K&Company Halloween paper stack, Stampin' Up white cardstock, Studio G mini alphabet stamp set, Versafine black ink, Stampendous glitter embossing powder, Ranger Distress ink in Black Soot, and white embroidery floss.

Thanks for checking out my project!

Recent Halloween Cards

I love Halloween time and I have been loving the Mini Monsters cartridge.  I used it a ton during my demos to make some Halloween cards.  Also used is the newest K&Company Halloween stack....SO CUTE!  I have been way into using my Cricut and Gypsy lately, which had been neglected way too long.  Unfortunately my Gypsy is having issues and I have to send it back today *sad face*...but hopefully I will get the new one ASAP so I can load my catridges and get it ready beofre the Scrapbook Expo in October.  So without further ado, here are the cards I have been making:
